I'm betting most of you didn't realize I was more than just
a set of lungs. Well, writing is in fact a hobby, and with
the redesign of my website I wanted to include an alternative
creative outlet for myself. Rather than keep these autobiographical
jewels tucked away in a binder somewhere, which would probably
end up in storage, I figured I'd put them out there for you
to check out at your leisure.
Some of them have been written from the road while on my backpacking
travels a few years ago, some have been written more locally
and recently.
I'll add more to this page as I write them. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Yes, this is still my life...
The Life Of Lil' Chauncey
If I were a dog I suppose I'd want to be mine.
The Calais Experience, 1996
One weekend in Calais France is really all anyone should ever spend. And
if in fact you have to go at all...don't go it alone. Trust me.
Brisbane, 2002
Another instance of intentions never realized. But this time
what I found was even better than I had hoped for.
Linda's Christmas
Do I look like I know my way around a kitchen? Well, sometimes
it takes more than good intentions
How Many Ways Can You Chip a Cotton?
At some point in my adolescent years I decided I needed a
back up plan in case I didn't get famous as I had intended
up to that point. I decided I wanted to be a farmer. This
diary entry gives you some insight into my opportunity to
test that theory and I'm now convinced it would still make
me happy. I believe those things we wish for in childhood
stay somewhere at the core of our being and are in some way
essential in what makes us happy as adults.
